The Tritons senior sprinter enjoyed a breakout week. He clocked a wind-legal 10.64 to win the 100 and a wind-legal 21.78 to win the 200 in Wednesday’s dual meet against Capistrano Valley. His 100 time is tied for the 10th best wind-legal time in county history. Gamboa closed the week by winning the 100 title in a wind-aided time of 10.57 at the Orange County Championships. His time is the third best in the state this season under all conditions. He also finished second in the 200 with a wind-aided time of 21.87.
