SVC grabs share of league title

SPECIAL TO OCVARSITY.COM

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO - Saddleback Valley Christian coach Gary Chambers said this game would decide who wins the San Joaquin League.

The Warriors (6-4, 5-1) didn’t let their coach down as they defeated visiting Bloomington Christian (6-4, 5-1), 39-14, Friday at JSerra High.

The victory made the Warriors co-champions of their league.

“This was one of our best games we played all season,” Chambers said. “All our players and coaches were dialed in and it felt great.”

Warriors quarterback Zac Rodarmel was especially dialed in as he threw for 150 yards with one touchdown. He also scored from 48 yards out and intercepted three passes on defense.
