Sakamoto, a four-year varsity player and two-time all-Golden West League selection for the Jaguars, has also been one of the school’s top academic performers. She is currently taking AP Calculus, AP Physics, English, and Government. She is a member of the OC Optimists service group and is completing her Gold Award for the Girls Scouts. Sakamoto is considering Cal Poly Pomona, Cal, and UC Irvine with plans to pursue a major in Computer Engineering.
