Sage Hill vs. Linfield Christian. Game played at Sage Hill High.
NEWPORT BEACH - Linfield Christian’s offense was too much for Sage Hill's defense as the Lions won, 38-0, on Friday night at Sage Hill High School.
Linfield senior running back Daniel Musquiz was the story of the first half as he ran for 175 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. He finished with 245 yards on 14 carries. The Lions as a team had 15 plays of 20 yards or more.
The lone bright spot for Sage Hill (1-6-0) was its defense. Despite yielding 38 points, the defensive unit caused five Lions turnovers.
The Lightning was without quarterback Randall Mycorn, the usual starter, for much of the game because of an to injury.
