Outlook: The Raiders have a strong returning offensive line led by All Freeway League First-Team tackle Dustin Sanford. There’s plenty of talent and experience at the skill positions, too, with seniors scheduled to start at running back, quarterback and wide receivers. And the offense might have to put up a lot of points this season for the Raiders to make it back to the playoffs, because there isn’t much depth or experience on defense this season.

RB Matthew Villasenor: He will likely be the featured back for the Raiders this season after rushing for six touchdowns and averaging 3.63 yards per carry as a junior last season. He’s also one of the strongest players on the team and can clean 285 pounds. Chiotti said he’s among the Raiders’ top college prospects. |

QB Kyle Mahstede: He appeared in seven games for the Raiders as a junior last season, completing 26 of 51 passes for 280 yards and two TDs. He averaged 40 yards per game, and his 51 percent completion percentage ranked fourth among the seven QBs in the league who attempted 50 or more passes. |
