Thursday Night Football Madness on FryDay Night? What does it mean?

FryDay Night Football Madness: The Primer

Tonight is the biggest night in OCVarsity.com history with 39 games on the schedule and Mr. FryDay Night is missing his first FryDay in 21 years? It's true, and it's for a good reason. Mr. FryDay Night is in Washington D.C. this weekend to see Mr. FryDay Night Jr. play starting right tackle for Catholic University.

What does this all mean? It means El Jefe Todd Harmonson decided to unleash Thursday Night Football Madness on FryDay Night for all the live updates. This is going to be more intense than a double rainbow sighting.

I told the Double Rainbow Guy about FryDay Night Football Madness and he was so stoked that he went into a double rainbow spazout session.

"Whoa, that's a full rainbow," Double Rainbow Guy said. "No way. Double rainbow, oh my god. Look at that, it's a double rainbow all the way. Whoooooaaaaa! It's so intense. Whoa, man.

"WHOOOOAAAA!!! Oh my god! OH MY GOD!!! Woooooo!!! AAAHHHH, WOW!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!! YEEEAAAHHH!! Oh my god. Look at that. It's starting to look like a triple rainbow!?! Oh my god, it's full on double rainbow all the way across.

"Oh my god (weeping). Oh my god. Oh god. What does this mean? Aaaah. Oh my god. Oh god, it's so bright. Oh my god, it's so bright and vivid. Oooohhh! Aaaaahhh!! Aaaaahh, it's so beautiful.

"(Weeping, weeping and more weeping ... snot bubble ... back to weeping).

"Oh my god. I don't know. Double-complete rainbow over my front yard. (Insane weeping). Oh my god. Oh my god, what does it mean? (weeping turns into sobbing). To watch, tell me what it means? Oh my god, it's so intense. Oh my god."

Game of the Night: Santa Margarita vs. Tesoro in The Rumble at the Ranch.

Why you should care:
Finally, these crosstown rivals meet for the first time. Only a few miles separate these two schools. Most of the players on both of these teams grew up playing Pop Warner together. It's a natural rivalry.

Tesoro is a very young team with a lot of talent. When I say young, I mean young. A lot of sophomore starters.

Harry Welch, who led St. Margaret's to three consecutive CIF-SS championships, is trying to bring that winning attitude back to Santa Margarita.

ALSO ON THE FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL MADNESS AGENDA

Mission Viejo vs. Loyola of L.A.:
I feel bad for the Cubs. They are about to get a big dose of Diablo D.

Edison vs. Long Beach Wilson: QB Chase Favreau's first start for the Chargers.

Tustin vs. Upland: Does Upland have any shot at stopping Tustin's mighty double-wing offense?

Canyon vs. Laguna Hills: Two big-time defenses ready to slug it out. I'm guessing the outcome will be something like 10-6.

Los Alamitos vs. Mayfair of Lakewood: Can anybody stop Los Al RB Nick Richardson?

Garfield of L.A. vs. Orange Lutheran: OLu tunes up for Tustin with a game against a L.A. City Section team.

Fountain Valley vs. San Clemente: Sunset League vs. South Coast League.

San Juan Hills vs. Yorba Linda:
The New Kids on the Block Bowl.
