Home stadium: Bolsa Grande High
Outlook: Enright is the longest tenured coach in the league, by far. The Vaqueros will lean on that stability as they attempt to repeat as league champions. They return 10 starters, but depth could be an issue. Gone are star running back Brett Hurley, last year’s league MVP, and quarterback Lincoln Faleoi, an all-league first teamer. The defense, which gave up a league-best 13.7 points a game, figures to be a strength again as five of the front seven earned all-league honors.
Factoid: The Vaqueros topped 40 points five times last season.
