Porter, one of the county’s top distance runners, has also been one of its top academic performers. Her current classes are: AP Macroeconomics, AP Calculus, IB Theory of Knowledge, IB French SL, IB Biology HL, IB Philosophy HL, and IB English HL. She is a member of the California Scholastic Federation and has interned with the Working Wardrobes Organization, including helping to organize a dress drive. Porter will attend Princeton University in the fall and run for the Tigers’ cross country and track teams. She currently has plans for a Pre-Med Major with a focus in Molecular Biology.
