Orange Lutheran cruises into final
Abbey Goodsell knocked down six 3-pointers and finished with 25 points to help No. 3 Orange Lutheran defeat No. 7 San Clemente, 71-47, in the semifinals of the Larry Doyle O.C. Championships on Friday night at Edison High.
Jessica Salottolo and Sydney Jacobs chipped in with 17 and 16 points for the Lancers.
Orange Lutheran plays Centennial of Corona, a 61-37 winner against Laguna Hills, for the tournament championship at 7:30 p.m. today at Marina High.

Canyon 38, Mount Miguel (Spring Valley) 24: Lindsay Uyematsu scored 23 points, including five 3-pointers, Tyler Prange had 11 points and eight rebounds, and Samantha Alcock had 10 rebounds to lead the Comanches (9-5) past the Matadors (6-5) in a pool-play game at Mount Miguel High.
Los Alamitos 51, Beckman 37: Katelyn McCutchen had 15 points, Samantha Nguyen had 14 points, and Neah Odom had nine points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocked shots as the Griffins (12-3) beat the Patriots (5-7) in a pool-play game at West Hills High of Santee.
