In the IWN/Gary Raya Classic:
No. 9 Tesoro 68, Esperanza 59: Tanner Lancona had 23 points and 16 rebounds to help the Titans (6-1) hold off the Aztecs in a pool play game at Woodbridge. Ryan Borak had 22 points for the Aztecs.
No. 6 Tustin 78, Woodbridge 60: Deondre Bryant had 21 points, and Rob Nelsen contributed 20 points and made five 3-pointers in the pool play victory for the Tillers (5-0) at Woodbridge.
Edison 60, Valencia 48: The Chargers (3-2) took control by outscoring the Tigers (2-4), 18-8, in the third quarter at El Dorado. Brodie Barton had 18 points for Edison, and Eric Schuster led the Aztecs with 16.
In the North O.C. Championships:
Jordan of Long Beach 72, Whittier Christian 59: The Heralds (4-3) lost to the Panthers at Sonora. Blake Coleman had 19 points for the Heralds, and Ryan Esslinger added 15 points and eight rebounds.
El Modena 58, Wilson of Hacienda Heights 48: Jake Daleo had 13 points for the Vanguards (5-2) at Sonora.
In the Charlie Wilkins Memorial Classic:
Huntington Beach 50, Torrance 41: Harley Ruder scored 21 points as the Oilers (4-2) won their first-round game at Westminster High.
