Magnolia rallies to beat Savanna in double-OT

ANAHEIM - Magnolia rallied from a nine-point deficit at halftime to beat Savanna, 52-48, in double overtime on Friday night at Savanna, keeping the Sentinels undefeated in the Orange League.

D'Shon Norris had 20 points and five assists for Magnolia (12-7, 8-0), which scored just 12 points in the first half.

Nathan Williams had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Sentinels.

The Rebels (5-14, 4-3) were led by Jasper Parker, who finished with 17 points, including three 3-pointers.

During a ceremony at halftime, Savanna school officials inducted former NFL quarterback Steve DeBerg, a 1972 graduate of the school, into the Sentinels' Athletic Hall of Fame.
