Marques' steal, basket complete Cypress rally

In boys basketball highlights on Tuesday:
Cypress 58, El Dorado 57: Mike Marques stole an inbounds pass and scored on a scoop shot from 5 feet with .8 of a second left to cap a furious fourth-quarter rally as the Centurions (2-0) beat the visiting Golden Hawks (1-1) in the second round of the Pio Turion Tip-Off Classic.
Cypress trailed by nine with 3:31 to play. Hadi Fattal scored 10 of his 17 in the final quarter, including a pair of 3-pointers and two free throws with six seconds to go to close the deficit to one.
Fattal also grabbed 15 rebounds. Jimmy Jackson chipped in with 17 points.
Brea Olinda 69, JSerra 39: Adam Williams had 18 points, including four 3-pointers, and K.C. Caudill added 13 points to lead the host Wildcats past the Lions.
Foothill 76, Bell Gardens 31: Lucas Mijares had 18 points and Alex Armstrong added 14 points as the Knights (2-0) routed the host Lancers (0-1) in the Coyote Classic.
Huntington Beach 76, Carter of Rialto 55: DaVontay Hennix had 21 points to propel the host Oilers past the Lions.
