All-County basketball player Nick Becker of Huntington Beach has signed with San Francisco State, Huntington Beach coach Fabian Luna confirmed. Becker, a 6-foot guard, averaged 20 points in the 2007-08 season.

Fullerton volleyball player Nicolette Casale has committed to UCLA. Casale was Fullerton's MVP last year and was an all-Freeway League performer each of her four years.
