York was selected MVP of the Orange Holiday Classic as he led the Lancers to the title. York averaged 29 points during the tournament, closing with a 38-point effort in the semfinals and 30 in the finals. To top it off, he also became Orange Lutheran's all-time leading scorer early in the finals against Foothill.
