Oelerich, a four-year varsity starter for the Patriots, has also been a consistent achiever in the classroom and in her community. Her AP classes have included Biology, World History, U.S. History, Psychology, Literature, Economics, Government, Calculus, and Chinese. She has served as a volunteer at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana. This past summer, Oelerich received a scholarship through San Diego State to attend the Confucius Institute, where students from China and the United States study and learn about the Chinese culture. Through the program, she earned the Chinese Bridge Award for the state of California. Oelerich’s top college choices include Cal, Stanford, UCLA, and UCSD.
