Liberty Christian shut down in second half

In the finale for both, Sammy Salgado rushed for 92 yards with one TD and passed for another, but it wasn't enough as Liberty Christian fell to visiting Southlands Christian, 42-12, Friday at Murdy Park in Huntington Beach in an Express League game.

After giving up 12 points in the first quarter, the Eagles (7-2, 3-1) held the Minutemen (2-6, 0-4) scoreless the rest of the game.
