MacDougall, a three-year starter for a Saints team ranked fifth in the CIF-SS Division 4, has also excelled in his academics and throughout his school and local community. His current courses include: AP Calculus, AP Biology, and AP Government/Economics. He has been a member of both the National Honors Society and the California Scholastic Federation. MacDougall, who has also played on the Saints’ basketball team, was the first student at the school to be selected as a California Golden Boys State Delegate. He also founded the Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter at the school and has been the president for three years. MacDougall has volunteered at the Lighthouse Community Center in Santa Ana, coaching soccer and teaching art. His potential college destinations include USC, UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, SMU, the University of San Diego, Washington, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he currently has designs to major in business and minor in Sports Media, Economics, and Political Sciences.
