Last season record:
7-5, 4-1 (Second Place)
Postseason:
In 2009, the Lions lost to Norwalk, 64-21, in the second round of the CIF Southern Division playoffs.
Coach:
Ted McMillen (13th year 83-61-1)
Home stadium:
Westminster High
Outlook:
The team’s five-year reign as the undisputed league power came to an end in 2009. The Lions will look to reassume that title in 2010. The loss of several key contributors on both sides of the ball could make that a difficult task if the newcomers are unable to assimilate quickly. Senior Robert Gonzalez, a first team all-league defender a season ago, will contribute to the offense as the lead running back. The Lions will use two quarterbacks. Junior Dominic Pendergrass and sophomore Myron Aiava will both see action behind center.
Starters:

Factoid:
The Lions’ 30-game league unbeaten streak that was stopped in 2009 was the third longest in county history.
School record:
216-260-18
