SAN CLEMENTE - Rebuilding Capistrano Valley Christian is looking for any growth it can find. Against Linfield on Saturday, the Eagles found it on the opposite side of the field.
With 15 returners from last season including its entire offensive line, Linfield scored a 70-6 nonleague victory at CVC (0-6) behind quarterback Jason Moralez and running back Daniel Musquiz.
Protected by a huge offensive line for Linfield (4-2) that included 6-foot-6, 241-pound Matt Fetzer, Moralez completed 8 of 13 passes for 81 yards and three touchdowns, all in the first half.
Musquiz carried 11 times for 57 yards and touchdown runs of 2 and 1 yard.
