Outlook:
Unlike last season, the Fighting Irish will not have its starting quarterback returning. Beau Salazar steps in for the graduated Andy Peterson. Salazar, however, will have some potent weapons at his disposal, including junior wide receiver Eli Pleasant. Pleasant will see a lot of the ball this season. Kennedy will have an experienced defense returning. Kennedy has the personnel to join the fight for one of the four playoffs berths from the Empire League.
