The Timberwolves’ top singles player went 7-0 last week, including an impressive three-match sweep (6-2, 6-2, 6-3) of No. 2 Corona del Mar on Tuesday, to up his record to a flawless 18-0 on the season.
After falling to the Sea Kings, Ruffin led fourth-ranked Northwood to victories over nonleague foe, Garden Grove (17-1) and Pacific Coast League counterpart, Beckman (13-5).
