Santa Margarita 58, Carson 0 -- and the first half still has a couple of minutes in it. I guess that new turf at Saddleback College is pretty good.
That's a school record for single-half scoring. The Eagles put 48 points up in one half against Servite in 1997, the Carson Palmer years.

Backup QB Joe Maglione had to fill in for the injured starter at Brea Olinda, and he is having a game. He has led Brea to a 31-0 lead over Diamond Bar.
