Girls scholar-athlete of the week: Kaelin Hales, Foothill soccer

Hales, a senior midfielder for the Knights, is also an exemplary student and member of the school community. Her classes are Government, Physics, AP Statistics, and AP Literature. She is a member of the California Scholastic Federation and is the Girls Athletic Commissioner on ASB. She is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and serves as a co-chair on the youth conference committee. Hales, who has played lacrosse at Foothill and was named an Academic All-American last year, will attend Brigham Young University of Hawaii next fall. She plans to major in Exercise Science and Sports.
