Talking points: Southeast Division
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Talking points: Southeast Division
CA: And I don’t take it seriously. La Habra is on a mission. The Highlanders are going all the way. California is the next speed bump in the way.
AM: Chris Morales hasn’t even had to extend himself because the Highlanders have been so good in every other area of the game. What’s La Habra’s weakness? ... Don’t say there isn’t one.
CA: I don’t know if La Habra has a glaring weakness, at least not in this division. Cali is a run-oriented team. We saw what La Habra’s defense did to Derrick Coleman. If the La Habra defenders are allowed to tee off on Cali’s running backs, this could get ugly.
AM: I’d say the big advantage for Cal High (I was in Whittier a week ago and that’s what they call them, Cal High) is it has played in a better league. It also beat Schurr.
CA: How could you say that was a better league when you had teams like Troy and Fullerton to go along with La Habra. La Habra and Fullerton are in the semis.
AM: It’s better from top to bottom. And bottom to top.
CA: So the bottom three are better than Freeway League’s bottom three and that makes them better? The top three in the Freeway League are way better, so I think that trumps the Del Rio League.
AM: Leave the Jacksonville Jaguars coach out of this.
