Outlook:
The Roadrunners enter 2009 looking for signs of progress after consecutive winless seasons. Their defense was a problem area last season, as they allowed an average of 41.4 points per game. Senior Tino Candelas, who did not play last season, will assume the QB duties. The Roadrunners could climb out of the basement this season if their seniors deliver a strong effort.

The Roadrunners’ last victory came Nov. 17, 2006, when they defeated Rosemead, 49-13, in the first round of the Southeast Division playoffs.
