Outlook: The Grizzlies likely will struggle for victories in their first season of varsity football, and with no seniors. “We're young,” Kaye said. “That's the biggest problem.” But Kaye likes the team's enthusiasm. The Grizzlies' nonleague schedule includes only one team, Santiago, that finished above .500 last year and also includes San Juan Hills, which also has no seniors.

Home stadium: Segerstrom High

Factoid: Kaye was a head coach at Cerritos for three years and has been an assistant at other schools (Millikan of Long Beach and Lakewood).
