The Princeton-bound center scored a combined eight goals in the semifinals and finals to earn MVP honors at the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions. She scored five goals from 2 meters in a 9-7 victory in the semifinals against Los Alamitos and three goals in a 10-8 triumph against Newport Harbor in the finals. "He (Princeton coach Luis Nicolao) had a big grin on his face after a couple of those games," Corona del Mar coach Sam Bailey said.
