CVC runs short of players, forfeits game

SAN CLEMENTE - Capistrano Valley Christian had to forfeit its nonleague game against Hope Centre Academy of Compton on Friday night after it ran short of players to finish the game at San Clemente High.

Capistrano Valley Christian found itself short of bodies after two of its players suffered broken legs during the game.

The game is officially scored as a 2-0 victory for Hope Centre Academy, which improved to 2-0.

Capistrano Valley Christian suffered its first loss after opening the season with two victories.
