FULLERTON- Michael Allain rushed for a career-high 320 yards and six touchdowns as Fullerton defeated Arroyo of El Monte, 41-20, in the opening round of the CIF-SS Southeast Division playoffs Friday at Fullerton High.

Allain scored on runs of 24, 10, 3, 92, 43 and 8 yards as the Indians (7-3) advance to the second round of the playoffs and will play La Serna or Alhambra next week.

"Whoa, give all of the credit to the offensive line," said Allain, who scored twice in the first quarter and once in the second quarter to give the Indians a 20-0 lead at halftime.

Late in the third quarter, Allain broke off a 892-yard TD run upping the Indians' lead to 27-0. He added TD runs of 43 and 8 yards in the fourth quarter.

The Indians' defense, led by George Flores and Cremsson Saldivar, sacked Arroyo QB Brian Partida four times and held the Knights' offense to 52 yards in the opening half.

Brian Partida threw for 237 yards and ran for two touchdowns to lead the Knights (6-5).
