Outlook: It’s not going to be easy to score on the Warriors this season as they return seven starters on defense including their three linebackers Trent Matthews, Joey Gutierrez and Nate Fleming. Together they combined to record 203 tackles last season. Fleming also plays offense, and rused for 260 yards and four touchdowns on 30 carries and will help to give the Warriors a potent running back combination as Dallas Parent also returns to the Warriors backfield. Last fall, Parent averaged 81.1 yards rushing per game

RB/KR Dallas Parent: He was one of the top rushers in the Freeway League last season, scoring five touchdowns and gaining 800 yards on 94 carries. He will also anchor the Warriors secondary as the starting strong safety. |

RB/OLB: Nate Fleming: As a junior, he emerged as one of the best outside linebackers in the league, finishing the season with 63 tackles and 12 sacks. But he was just as valuable to Troy on offense, averaging 8.67 yards per carry. |
