OK, we have something to report on Chargers offense

After the safety, Edison returned the ensuing kick to its own 35.

Edison QB Aleksander Torgersen is facing some heat, he takes off on an unelegant scramble, but he can't pick up the first down.

Edison is forced to punt for the third straight time.

HOLDING!!! Edison will have to do another punt.

There was no return on the punt and Villa Park takes over at its own 30.

Villa Park QB Dylan Osborne is 0 for 4 ... D'Oh!!! Edison LB Robert Reyes almost picks off Osborne. It hit Reyes in the wrong place ... the hands.

It's punting time again.

There's a hold on the return against Edison. That brings it back to Edison's 41.

Torgersen goes deep for Kiante Gourdeau ... and he drops it.

Torgersen hits Marcus Stepanich for a 48-yard gain. Edison has a first down at the 11-yard line.

Here comes third-and-7. Torgersen is almost picked off by Michael Harlin in the end zone.

Here comes a 25-yard field goal attempt by Hunter Kelley.

Kelley's kick is up and ... it's good. Off sides against Villa Parkand that blows the play dead.

Edison is going for it one fourth-and-2 from the 4-yard line. GO FOR IT!!!! Edison was just trying to get Villa Park to jump again and the Spartans don't oblige.

Kelley kicks a 22-yard FG and the Chargers cut the Spartans' lead to 7-5with 7:40 left in the half.
