The All-CIF teams have plenty of Orange County players on them, and a few of them are repeat selections.
Mater Dei's David Wear is a Division I-AA co-player of the year for the second year in a row. Wear shares the I-AA player of the year honor with Kahwi Leonard of M.L. King of Riverside. Leonard had 20 rebounds when King beat Mater Dei in the I-AA championship game.
Wear also was the county player of the year.
Chris Manresa is I-A player of the year. He led Tesoro to the I-A title, and was the only non-Mater Dei player on the All-County first team.
Canyon's Braden Priest is the III-AA player of the year. He was the Comanches' top scorer and most consistent player during Canyon's run to the III-AA title.
Two Ocean View players share the IV-AA player of the year award - Anthony Brown and Avery Johnson. Both were also All-County second team.
Some county schools had multiple All-CIF players spread over the divisional first and second teams.
