Coronado shuts out Laguna Beach, 34-0

CORONADO - Led by a four-touchdown night from senior quarterback Mason Mills, Coronado shut out the Laguna Beach, 34-0, in the teams’ season opener Friday at Coronado High.

After allowing 20 first-quarter points, the Breakers held Coronado to 14 over the final three quarters.

Mills rushed for two touchdowns and passed for two more, including a 51-yard strike to junior wideout Kodie Englehart.
