As part of Corona del Mar’s three-man revolving door at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, Williams took over the No. 2 duties last week and went 6-0 in two matches with impressive victories over a pair of heralded singles players in Troy’s Caryl Hernandez and Northwood’s Julian Ruffin. During a week the Sea Kings defeated their opponents by a combined score of 30-6, the sophomore won three sets 6-0 and single sets 6-1, 6-3 and 6-4.
