Cochran set lifetime best efforts in the discus (209-8) and the shot put (62-10) en route to winning both competitions at the 45th annual Arcadia Invitational. He is currently ranked No. 1 in the country in the discus and No. 1 in the state (No. 8 in the country) in the shot put.
