IN THE SPOTLIGHT:
Katella. The Knights move into the Orange League after many years in the Empire, and it appears to be a move into a league that is a better competitive fit. A strong running game could make Katella a playoff or league-title contender.
UNDER CONSTRUCTION:
Century. The Centurions struggled through a winless season in 2009. But a new attitude and commitment from the players could help the team to a couple of wins that would help create momentum and build confidence.
PLAYER TO WATCH:
Jeremiah Rideaux. The Savanna senior quarterback was the league’s offensive player of the year in ’09 when he rushed for 1,255 yards.
