Buena Park-Schurr recap

OCVARSITY.COM

BUENA PARK - Before the start of each season, Buena Park coach Anthony White tells his players that if they dream big and reach for the stars, no goal can be out of reach.

Deven Boston obviously listened.

The 6-foot-1 junior rushed for 241 yards and four touchdowns on 21 carries to lead the host Coyotes to a 35-0 nonleague victory against Schurr of Montebello.

Boston entered the game as the fourth-ranked running back in the county after gaining 178 yards against Cerritos in the season opener. He has scored 54 of the Coyotes’ 109 points this season.
