Los Alamitos baseball coach Mark Clabough submitted his letter of resignation Tuesday, Athletic Director Cary Brody confirmed Thursday.

Brody said that the move was announced Tuesday night at a Griffins Baseball Booster Club meeting.

Clabough coached the Griffins since 2001. He led them to three Sunset League titles (2001, 2007-08).

Los Alamitos finished in fourth place this season.
