Bedard pitches a three-hit shutout for the Patriots in 2-0 victory over Santa Paula.
In the Division VI semifinals on Tuesday:
Oxford Academy 2, Santa Paula 0: Cameron Bedard scored the winning run and shut out a potent Cardinals offense to help lead the visiting Patriots (21-5) to the championship game.
The Patriots will face Rosamond in the championship game Friday at Blair Field at 4:30 p.m. Rosamond defeated Windward, 7-4, Tuesday.
After leading off the game with a double, Bedard scored on a bases-loaded walk to Daniel Lucak.
Bedard (12-3) limited Santa Paula (22-8) to three singles and struck out five.
Patrick Zajac went 3 for 3 for Oxford Academy, which finished with eight hits.
