Boys scholar-athlete of the week: Luke Baker, Beckman

A first team all-league midfielder and co-captain for the Patriots, Baker has excelled is his academics and community service. He is currently taking Honors Physics, AP Economics, AP Government, AP Literature, Applied Calculus, and ASB Leadership. He is an AP Scholar award winner and is a delegate on the American Legion Boys State Conference. He serves as co-president of the school’s Athletes for Athletes community service club, a student coordinator for Link Cru, and the Academics Commissioner for ASB. Baker has also coached middle school lacrosse at Pioneer Middle School in Tustin and volunteered with the Tustin Eastern Little League. He will attend Bucknell University next fall and enter the school’s ROTC program.
