Los Amigos vs. Garden Grove
GARDEN GROVE Aaron Nelson ran for 223 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead the Garden Grove Argonauts to a 47-22 Garden Grove League victory over visiting Los Amigos on Friday night.
Sean Young also scored two touchdowns for Garden Grove (4-3, 2-0), both in the first three minutes of the game.
On the fourth play of the game, Young (11 carries for 88 yards) broke several tackles on his way to a 22-yard touchdown.
On Los Amigos’ first possession of the game, Young intercepted a pass and ran it back for a 35-yard score.
After trailing 27-0, Los Amigos (2-5, 1-1) scored its first touchdown on a 36-yard run by junior running back Ricky Vu (12 carries for 101 yards) late in the second quarter.
Los Amigos' Jose Gonzalez passed for 217 yards.
