How they got here: Top-seeded Los Alamitos defeated Yorba Linda, 19-1; Aliso Niguel, 15-4, and Santa Margarita, 11-8; Seventh-seeded Corona del Mar def. Capistrano Valley, 19-18; Foothill, 11-7 and Beckman, 13-8.
Outlook: Los Alamitos has won three consecutive county titles and will be hoping to advance to the Division 1 Southern Section finals Saturday. The Griffins have plenty of offensive firepower led by Grace Schmidt-Beck, who scored six goals in the semifinals and Julie Crowell, who had two goals.
"We have 24 big guns, that's why we're good," said Los Alamitos Coach Liz Connelly.
Corona del Mar has had quite a run in the playoffs, knocking off No. 2 Foothill and No. 3 Beckman to reach the county finals for the first time in school history under Coach Aly Vislocky.
