Foothill 9, Newport Harbor 4 (Call of Klug's game misconduct got good and bad reviews on deck.)

Los Alamitos 5, Corona del Mar 4 (Sea Queens looked confused on offense, Griffins looked poised.)

Championship final
Los Alamitos 5, Foothill 3 (Knights are hard to blow out but I liked LosAl even if Klug played.)

Third place
Corona del Mar 6, Newport Harbor 5 (Both teams played their reserves but regular Baldoni looked super.)

Fifth place
Dos Pueblos 10, Laguna Beach 5 (If I were a coach, I'd set Dries less and drive her into set more.)

Third-place semifinals
Laguna Beach 12, LB Wilson 6 (Bruins lost their last two games in blowouts.)
Dos Pueblos 8, Santa Barbara 3 (DP's mastery of Dons continued.)

Consolation final
Riverside Poly 5, Murrieta Valley 4 (Entertaining game -- Cardey's penalty with 1:27 left won it.)

Consolation semifinals
Murrieta Valley 7, Santa Margarita 5 (Huge victory for Division V champs.)

All-Masters tournament
MVP -- Kaley Dodson, LosAl, So. (Easy decision.)
Kate Baldoni, CdM, GK, Jr. (Gave up some lobs against LosAl but came back strong.)
Annika Dries, Laguna Beach, Jr. (Commanded extra attention.)
Jessica Dunn, Los Alamitos, Jr. (Very strong weekend.)
Jessie Holechek, Laguna Beach, Fr. (One very under-rated freshman. She can shoot.)
Emily Klug, Foothill, Sr. (Good kid, great player, tough ending.)
Kaylee Miller, Los Alamitos, Sr. (If healthy all year, would have dominated.)
Kiley Neushul, Dos Pueblos, Fr. (Her passing will be her ticket to the national team.)
