Tandy had an interesting season for the Tillers. On offense, he helped paved the way at fullback for a Tustin ground attack that churned out 5,000 rushing yards. At linebacker, he excelled at stopping the opposition's ground game. The senior was “scary-looking” on defense, according to Coach Myron Miller. Tandy was a second-team All-County pick in 2011. This season, he recorded five sacks and intercepted a pair of passes.
