No. 1 Aliso Niguel girls soccer: The Wolverines opened the season with a 19-match unbeaten streak that included tournament titles in the Aliso Cup and the Mater Dei Premier Invitational. Aliso Niguel capped an impressive run in the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs with a dramatic 2-1 victory in the title match over archrival San Clemente. Aliso Niguel closed out the season by rallying from a 2-0 second-half deficit to defeat Los Osos, 3-2, to win the program's first CIF Southern California Division 1 Regional title. The Wolverines ended the season 23-1-4 and ranked No. 1 in the nation by ESPN Rise and Max Preps.
