The senior forward wasn't simply the best player on the best team. He was X-traordinary, especially when it counted most. Johnson averaged 19.2 points and 10.2 rebounds in the playoffs, both figures an improvement over his season averages. The Colorado signee was by far the county's best post player, recording a county-best 18 double-doubles, including eight in the playoffs and six in a row. His relentless play in the paint made an already intimidating Monarchs frontline downright menacing en route to the CIF-SS D-1AA title and a second consecutive state title.
