Ellis got 28 points in an 18-point championship-game victory over Ygnacio Valley. Mater Dei had a tougher time in the regional, squeezing past Fairfax. A surprise hero in the final was Chris Patton, who made four of five shots from outside to keep Ygancio Valley honest.
