Tiger Woods (continued) – At one point, Woods held all four major titles at once for a so-called “Tiger Slam.” The county athlete of the year award in 1994 did go to another future hall of fame athlete: NFL tight end Tony Gonzalez, now with the Atlanta Falcons. At Huntington Beach, Gonzalez was a standout in football and basketball. He played both sports at Cal.
