3. Chris Ward, Mater Dei (6-6, 300, OL): The left tackle (No. 62 in photo) remains the county's top uncommitted player. He has been offered by UCLA, Cal, Washington, Washington State, Arizona and Stanford. Could it be a battle between Cal and UCLA? Will USC offer? A knee injury kept him out of games at the start of last season, but once he settled in during his return, coaches say he played well.
