Valencia senior Matt Ruff tossed a no-hitter as the Tigers (2-0) rolled past St. Paul of Santa Fe Springs, 9-0, on Saturday at the Newport Elks Tournament.
Ruff allowed only one walk in seven innings for Valencia (2-0).
Tigers catcher Philip Bracamontes went 2 for 4 with a double and three RBI.
Laine Huffman went 3 for 4 with two runs scored.
